About Us

At Reed Academy, we exist to ensure high levels of learning for ALL students. We do this by providing students with a high-level, rigorous curriculum that meets the academic needs of all students.

We also have staff and support services to develop the whole child. We have 1 principal, 2 assistant principals, Coordinator of Site Interventions, 2 counselors, 2 social workers, Student Advocate, Behavior Interventionist, 44 certified staff, learning coach, before school tutor, and 15 support staff. We have partnerships with Burrell Behavior Health and Community Partnerships of the Ozarks that allow us to serve students academically, socially, and their mental health needs.

Reed Academy Middle School offers a wide variety of clubs and activities, in addition to interscholastic sports to engage all students. Reed currently serves approximately 600 students from the Springfield Community.
